Your notes, filed and findable.
Brain is a private folder of plain Markdown notes with small agents that capture, file, link, recall and brief. It runs on your machine or your server. The notes are ordinary files you can open without us.
What it looks like

A morning in Brain
Your notes file and link themselves.
Brain files what you captured, links related notes and drafts a brief. It never sends. You read and approve.
- It files
- Captured notes go to the right place.
- It links
- Related notes are connected, and you see each proposed link.
- It briefs
- A short brief is drafted from your own notes.
- You approve
- Nothing is sent until a person says yes.
Done: 9 notes filed, 12 links approved, brief ready
Done- File the inbox
- Link related notes
- Draft the brief

How it works.
Step 1
Teach it how you write.
Brain learns your writing style from a few text samples you choose. Everything stays on this machine.

Step 2
Approve every draft.
Brain writes drafts in your voice. It never sends. You read, change and approve.

Step 3
Prepare a handover pack.
Brain can prepare a pack for a buyer or successor from your own notes. It carries a notice that it is not advice.
Brain, exit readinessDemo data
The work it takes off you.
Sorting notes
Drop notes in an inbox folder. Brain proposes where each one goes, and you approve the ones it is unsure about.
Cross-referencing
It links related notes so you find the thing you wrote last spring without remembering where it went.
Searching for answers
Ask a question and the answer cites the notes it came from. An answer with no note behind it is discarded.
Writing the morning brief
A short brief each morning and a review each week, built from what is in the vault.
Writing up lessons and handoffs
When a piece of work ends, it drafts the lesson learned and the handoff for the next person.
You approve, decide and sign. Brain does the filing.
How it runs.
- It runs on your side. There is no Solutions Factory server holding your notes.
- Without a model, every agent works from rules. You can add a model that runs on your own machine if you want better suggestions.
- You sign in with a passkey, not a password.
- Backups go to a place you choose. Your private folder stays out of them unless you say otherwise.
